Welcome to the City of Homes Living Museum!
The museum is the perfect way to explore what life was like in Springfield, MA during the mid-1800's. Visitors can stroll through the town and visit authentic shops, churches, and homes from this time period that have been lovingly restored! Guests can take a guided tour that will help them uncover stories of this era or they can explore on their own. With an immersive experience, knowledgeable staff, and interactive displays, the City of Homes Living museum offers a unique opportunity to get a glimpse into the past.

While visitors are allowed (and encouraged!) to explore all of our town's districts, the guided tour is ran starting at Kibbe House, found at 1030 Worthington St, Springfield MA 01109. Tours are run daily at 10, 11, 2, and 3, weather permitting. This is a walking tour, but please feel free to contact us at tours@mcknighthistorical.org  to arrange for accessible options should they be needed. Ticket prices can be found below.
